For Athletes

As a dancer, I am no stranger to intense training and hard physicality. However, from my experience I learned, that though you may spend thousands of hours practicing, if you are not clear about exactly what it is you need to improve, and how to improve it, your hard work may bear no real results. Unless you are aware of your movement patterns, and know how to change them, you are doomed to repeat them over and over again, to no avail.

Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais held a black belt in Judo, and was a physicist and an engineer. Combining his different areas of knowledge he developed a clear understanding as to what makes a movement efficient, and what is an ideal movement. Using the Feldenkrais learning modalities, professional and amateur athletes seeking to upgrade their performance, and prevent/overcome injuries can learn to move efficiently with greater mobility and accuracy.

As an experienced Feldenkrais teacher and a fan of many sports, I have a sharp eye in recognizing movement deficiencies in athletes. Using Feldenkrais principles I offer athletes clear tools to help them reach the next level of their practice in any sport.
